Helping Arabian nation will likely deepen China's influence in region

China pledged on Wednesday to strengthen economic cooperation with Yemen as the Arabian country struggles to maintain stability and pursue economic development amid ongoing domestic conflict.

President Xi Jinping met visiting Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and said that China is willing to enhance anti-terrorism and anti-piracy cooperation with Yemen, which has been battling terrorists and pirates for years.
