6 killed, 1 missing as ferryboat sinks

Six people died and one went missing in a marine accident in Muyang County in East China's Jiangsu Province on Wednesday, Guangzhou Daily reported yesterday.

A ferryboat which was carrying 15 people sank in a river in county's Xinhe Township at 6:30.

Operation against marine traffic rules is blamed for the accident, according to the initial investigation.
