The pair were held after getting into a heated argument with flight attendants after allegedly refusing to tone down a noisy card game when returning from training in Sydney on a Cathay Pacific plane.

One female stewardess was allegedly shoved into a seat during the incident Saturday, the Xinhua state news agency said Monday.

However, Liu and Wang were released without charge due to a lack of evidence, the report said.
