World soccer's governing body FIFA will send a three-man delegation to Kenya on Friday to resolve the wrangles that have hit the country's football body, local media reporte d Wednesday.

The FIFA delegation will be led by Pascal Torres, who heads development in the Zurich-based organization, deputy secretary general Jerome Champagne and Ashford Mamelodi, who is in charge of development in Africa.

According to a letter from Champagne to Kenya Football Federation (KFF), the delegation will first attend a clubs meeting on Saturday at the Moi International Sports Center in Nairobi.

The Saturday meeting will discuss various issues affecting the clubs, especially promotion and relegation, play-offs, the Premier League company, representation in KFF and pending appeals.

After resolving issues affecting clubs, the delegation will meet KFF National Executive Committee in the afternoon.

Their meeting will discuss the internal governance of the federation, respect for KFF constitution, launching of Goal Project and FIFA's financial assistance.

Champagne has asked the federation officials to put their personal disagreements and pride behind them and place the interest of football above themselves.

"Reconciliation and unity are essential to achieve the objectives of a professional KFF, a modern organization for the Premier League clubs and a strong Kenyan football on the international scene," said Champagne.

The FIFA delegation comes at a time when the KFF executive is divided down the middle.

Two weeks ago, some members of the executive committee "suspended" chairman Alfred Sambu. The action followed the replacement of Erastus Okul as the federation's second vice-chairman.

Sambu has lost support of majority of the KFF top ruling body.
