報(bào)道中的snap（突然的）更強(qiáng)調(diào)事件的"突發(fā)性"，a snap general election意思是"倉(cāng)促的大選"，與他信所做決定的"突然；急促"相契合。Snap在這里是形容詞形式，相當(dāng)于sudden（突然的），如：It's risky to make snap judgments（倉(cāng)促做出判斷是危險(xiǎn)的）。
