iPhone 4G 'Made in Korea'?

韓媒:iPhone4乃韓國造

The unveiling Monday of the iPhone 4G in San Francisco prompted industry insiders to joke that Apple's latest product is actually made in Korea, The Chosun Ilbo claimed. The LCD display, the CPU, battery and other major components are Korean. The LCD is from LG Display. Apple may have designed the A4 1 GHz CPU that goes into the phone, but Samsung manufactures it, the report claimed. Samsung also supplies batteries, which contributed to iPhone 4G's enhanced battery performance.

韓國《朝鮮日報》日前撰文稱，由于蘋果最新iPhone4G智能手機的LCD顯示屏、內(nèi)存芯片和電池等重要配件均由韓國廠商提供，以至于業(yè)界戲稱iPhone實際上是"韓國制造"。文章稱，iPhone的顯示屏來自LG Display；至于內(nèi)存芯片，蘋果只是設計出了1 GHz主頻的A4處理器的樣本，真正讓它變成現(xiàn)實的是三星電子。此外，iPhone電池性能的提高全得仰仗三星，因為三星才是電池的制造商。iPhone4G于當?shù)貢r間7日在舊金山發(fā)布。
