A two-month old giraffe is shown at the Metropolitan Park Zoo in Santiago, Chile, Friday, Oct. 13, 2006. The giraffe which was born August 4 in the U.S. state of Virginia, made her first public appearance Friday. She was sent to Chile to reproduce the giraffa camelopardalis species.[AP]
