為成為2008年北京奧運(yùn)會電器產(chǎn)品獨(dú)家供應(yīng)商，英格索蘭（中國）投資有限公司日前表示，他們會積極備戰(zhàn)并有信心競標(biāo)成功。據(jù)透露，對于最終供應(yīng)商的確定，北京奧組委將于8月份在對最后候選人的產(chǎn)品進(jìn)行評定后給予定奪。

報(bào)道中的short-listed
candidates就是指“經(jīng)過初次選拔后，參加決選的候選人”，參賽者可以是競爭“某個職位”、“某種榮譽(yù)”或“某個晉升機(jī)會”。
Short-listed源于動詞詞組short-list（把…列入決選名單），例如：He's been short-listed for the
director's job.（他已經(jīng)入圍董事一職的決選名單。）
另外，去掉連字符的short list可作名詞詞組，指“決選名單”，所以，上面一句話也可改寫為：She was on the short list for
the position of director.
