多年過去，The cup of
life仍被認(rèn)為是1998年東道主法國(guó)首壓世界冠軍之外該屆世界杯最大的收獲。歌曲采用非洲的鼓聲作為最主要的伴奏音樂，并在其中融入了大量的流行元素，再加上激情奔放、瑯瑯上口的旋律和振奮人心的歌詞，使這首曲子迅速在世界流行。瑞奇·馬丁由此榮獲1998年度格萊美最佳拉美流行歌手獎(jiǎng)。
