He Long 賀龍

As a household military leader in China, He Long was born in 1896 in Hunan province. He planned and led the famous Nanchang Uprising on Aug 1, 1927, which later became the anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

賀龍是中國家喻戶曉的軍事家，1896年出生于湖南。1927年8月1日他發(fā)動和領導了著名的南昌起義，后來8月1日這一天就被定為中國人民解放軍建軍紀念日。
