The Hefei Tourism Bureau has just finished designing ten exquisite travel routes with different themes and features around Chaohu Lake.
By the National Day holiday of 2014, the construction of Chaohu Ring Road will be completed and 13 passages linking the Road with tourist attractions will be open at the same time, making access to the over-50 scenic spots around the lake easier.
Here are the ten new exquisite travel routes:
1. one-day tour of Feidong county:
Chaohu Ring Road - Siding Mountain Forest Park (or the Baima Mountain Forest Park) - Changlin River ancient town - Daishan Lake scenic spot;
2. one-day tour of Feixi county:
Sanhe ancient town – Huagang town loach breeding base - Huagang town demonstration garden of ecological agriculture - Sangang village flower seedling base;
3. one-day tour of Lujiang county:
Hefei city - Tangchi hot spring holiday resort - cemetery of Zhou Yu - Yefu Mountain National Forest Park;
4. one-day tour of Chaohu Lake:
The Ziwei Cave scenic area - Binhu sightseeing avenue - the former home of Li Kenong - Huong Jiatong village, hometown of Zhang Zhizhong - Zhongmiao Temple and the Mushan Island scenic area;
5. one-day tour of the Baohe River:
Yangtze River Crossing Campaign Memorial Hall (closed on Mondays) - the Binhu National Forest Park - the Dawei Urban Agricultural Park - the mushroom picking sightseeing garden - Xiyuan agriculture company - the Golden Grape science and technology demonstration park - strawberries and vegetables picking - Niujiao Embankment
6. one-day humanity cultural tour:
Yangtze River Crossing Campaign Memorial Hall - Changlin River ancient town – the former home of Zhang Zhizhong - former home of Li Kenong- Wenfeng Tower and the Zhongmiao Temple;
7. one-day pleasure-boat tour on the Chaohu Lake:
Binhu Pearl Wharf - Zhongmiao Temple Wharf - Mushan Mountain Wharf - Sanhe ancient Wharf
8. three-day tour of the Huangshan Mountain and Jiuhua Mountain:
Yangtze River Crossing Campaign Memorial Hall - Zhongmiao Temple - Jiuhua Mountain - Huangshan Mountain - Hongcun village
9. two-day praying tour of the Jiuhua Mountain: Yangtze River Crossing Campaign Memorial Hall - Binhu Pearl Wharf - Mushan Island - Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Cultural Park - the front range of the Jiuhua Mountain;
10. two-day tour of the Tianzhu Mountain: Load Bao Park – the former home of Li Hongzhang - Sanhe ancient town - Tianzhu Mountain.
Supplementary information:
1. The Hefei Tourism Bureau has initiated a call to the public to come up with promotional slogans and logos.
Both slogan and logo should highlight features of Hefei city. The slogan is also required to have no more than 12 characters and to be translatable.
From April 15 to May 31, participants can send their entries to the Market Development Department of Hefei Tourism Bureau (Room A407, Zone3 of the government office, #110 Dongliu Road, Hefei city, 230072) or 1278899508@qq.com. All correspondence should include the name, address and phone number of the participant. The highest prize for the slogan will be 5000 yuan ($ 801.08) and that for the logo will be 6000 yuan ($ 961.52).
2. The 2014 Hefei Travel Photography Contest has already been launched. Before June 12, photographers can send their entries to the Market Development Department of Hefei Tourism Bureau (Room A407, Zone3 of the government office, #110 Dongliu Road, Hefei city, 230072) or 1278899508@qq.com. The two highest prizes for the contest will be 5000 yuan ($ 801.08).
