BeiGene Biological Science and Technology Co Ltd (Beijing) and 12 other companies signed a contract with Zhongguancun Development Group on April 13.

Company representatives, officials from Haidian and Changping district participated in the conference. Equity investments and local government support enable enterprises to settle down in the Zhongguancun northern industrial belt.

A person with the Zhongguancun Development Group said the agreement stands as a bridge to connect government resources with companies.

The new contract gave full play to the industrialized and market-oriented Zhongguancun platform to promote group projects and speed up the operating cycles.

The high-tech companies involved hold a promising future. BeiGene Biological Science and Technology Co Ltd (Beijing) iss a pharmaceutical and biological company established by Wang Xiaodong appears to be an up-and-coming company.

Wang worked as an academician for the United States National Academy of Sciences. His company commits to innovative anti-cancer drug development and hired more than 140 drug research and development talents.

Other companies coming to Zhingguancun include Pulead Technology Industrial Co Ltd, a leading lithium-ion battery materials company and ZhuoKe Lighting Co Ltd, a leading energy management contract (EMC) corporation.
