Valentina Matviyenko, chairman of the Russian Federation Council visited Zhongguancun Science Park recently. Bai Zhiyong, deputy director of the science park's administrative committee, welcomed the visiting group at the park's exhibition center.

Bai briefly outlined the park to the visiting group. Chairman Matviyenko also learned about the development of high-tech enterprises in Zhongguancun, such as Lenovo, Baidu, Han Wang, Crystal CG, Ren Chuang and Origin Water.

Bai also introduced Zhongguancun's preferential policies for financing and high-tech company development. He hoped China and Russia could enhance exchanges and cooperate to improve mutual technology innovation and development.
