On Sept 14, 2011, China Daily reported a story on Tea & Source Co Ltd.

Tea & Source is a brand of skin-care products developed by Beijing Water Plants Town Technology Development Co Ltd. As a pioneer of tea-based skin protection products, Tea & Source has been popular in Chinese and international markets since product hit the shelves in 2010.

The company has developed its marketing system all over the country. It has partnered with Taobao and Jingdong, famous online shopping malls, to cultivate a platform for online purchases. Tea & Source and Alibaba International Business Platform have cooperated to open up a channel for the product to be sold in the world market.

Since the export platform was established, Tea & Source quickly attracted agents from Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia.

Tea & Source has caught the attention of Chinese and foreign high-end media with the concept of “taking nature as the base and protecting skin with tea.” In September 2011, a China Daily reporter did a field interview with Beijing Water Plants Town Technology Development Co Ltd and was fascinated by Tea & Source’s skin-care philosophy of unique national characteristics and localized features. China Daily reported the Tea & Source branded skin-care products on Sept 14 in a bid to promote the special skin-care brand to other parts of the world.
