Duration and methods for application for temporary entry

In accordance with the provisions of the Exit-Entry Administration Law, the duration of temporary entry into China shall not exceed 15 days. The application for temporary entry should be filed with the exit-entry border inspection authorities of the intended port of entry. The exit-entry border inspection authorities may require the foreigners, the persons in charge of conveyances carrying them into China or the agencies conducting the business of exit and entry of conveyances to provide necessary assurance.
