Nissan launched an iPhone case which can repair scratches automatically. The scratch shield is made of polyrotaxane, which can repair little scratches within about an hour. However, it won't be so effective when it comes to serious scratches. This technology has been applied to Nissan automobiles before. So far, Nissan has licensed this tech mainly to a Tokyo manufacturer. The said iPhone case is expected to enter the market by the end of 2012.
