President Li Wei meets with the delegation from Research and Information System for Developing Countries of India(RIS)
On Sept. 25th, President Li Wei met with the delegation from Research and Information System for Developing Countries of India(RIS), headed by Dr. Sudipto Mundle (Ministerial level), Chairman of RIS Research Advisory Council and Acting Chairman of National Statistical Commission of India. Two leaders exchanged their views on the cooperative relationships between DRC and RIS. A roundtable discussion between the delegation and DRC research fellows was followed on the issues of the reforms on financial sectors in both countries, Sino-Indian trade and investment relations, manufacturing strategies, etc. The roundtable was chaired by Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department, and Mr. Feng Fei, Director General of Research Department of Industrial Economy, Mme. Zhang Chenghui, Director General of Finance Research Institute, Ms. Zhang Qi, attended the discussion. During their visit, there were other meetings with the Finance Research Institute of People’s Bank of China, Institute of World Economics and Politics of CASS, National School of Development at Peking University, China Agricultural University, as well as a field study to Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone.
