Premier Wen and Prime Minister Hatoyama congratulate the 30th Anniversary of China-Japan Forum for Exchange of Economic Knowledge
On April 26, a symposium on the 30th Anniversary of China-Japan Forum for Exchange of Economic Knowledge held at the Great Hall of the People inBeijing. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama sent their letters of congratulation respectively. In his letter, Premier Wen praised the important role of the Forum over the years in promoting the economic dialogue and cooperation between China and Japan and expressed his hope that the Forum could continue make its contribution to advancing a new prospect for the strategic relationship of mutual benefit between the two countries. Over 70 Chinese and Japanese personalities attended the symposium, including Mr. Zhang Yutai, DRC President and the Chinese Chief Delegate to the Forum; Mr. Shinji Fukukawa, former Vice Minister of International Trade and Industry and the Japanese Chief Delegate, Mr. Yuji Miyamoto, Japanese Ambassador to China, Mr. Hou Yunchun, DRC Vice President, Mr. Wang Mengkui, former DRC President; as well as Mr. Han Jun, Mme.
