A signing ceremony and a press conference for the 2017 Zhangzhou Tourism Investment (ZZTI) Group International Kiteboard Open was held in Zhangzhou Financial Training Center in the Zhangzhou Dongshan Island Maluan Bay Scenic Spot on Oct 10.

The event is co-hosted by China Water Sports Administration, Fujian Sports Bureau, the International Kiteboard Association (IKA), and sponsored by the Dongshan government, Fujian Yachiting Association and Dongshan Water Sports Association.

Wang Chaoling, deputy mayor of Dongshan County, attended and addressed the press conference. At the conference, IKA representative Zhai Dahui introduced specific plans and preparations for the event.

According to the conference, the 2017 Dongshan International Kiteboard Open will be held at Dongshan Island Jinluan Bay from Nov 4 to 6. The contest contains international men's and women's group, and stunt show group. About 70 to 100 players from all over the world will attend the competition. The event is growing into a top competition with global influence and will promote the further development of sea sports in Dongshan Island.
