Wang Qin obtained a business license for her ad company within three hours in Pingtan, Fujian province, on April 21, ptnet.cn reported.

“I didn’t expect it to be so fast,” she said.

Wang explained that she submitted the application form at the service hall of the Pingtan Free Trade Zone (FTZ) at about 8:20, and was approved at 10:50.

The Pingtan FTZ started to issue a new business licenses in March to ease the registration procedure.

The new license integrates the business license, the certificate of organization code and the certificate of taxation registration into one certificate.

The applicant only needs to fill out an online form with required documents for business registration and then submit it to the service center to round out the application once and for all.

The reform has slashed the time of such applications from 26 days for domestic companies and 46 days for overseas ones to a staggering three hours, saving a great deal of time on their part.

“Thanks to the new policy, we don’t have to run a lot of departments,” said Wang.
