The ceremony for the 70th anniversary of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the World Anti-Fascist War was held in Beijing on Sept 3. Fangchenggang's residents watched the military parade by various means in order to witness this unique moment and celebration in high public spirit.

Many people were tuned into their TV sets or logged on their computers to watch the spectacular military parade on television or on the Internet. More than 200 people gathered at the Wanhai Cinema to watch the military parade on IMAX screen. Many shopping malls also set up large-screen TV sets and projectors to help people not miss live broadcast of the anniversary activities, which attracted large number of local residents.

After watching the outstanding military parade, many people expressed their pride as a Chinese and paid tribute to soldiers on social media platforms such as WeChat and Weibo.
