The Baiku Yao Mountain Village in Ganhe

This mountain village of the Baiku Yao people consists of 21 farmhouses in the Yao style, 16 unique barns, and a deep underground valley. The cultural landscape of the Baiku Yao mountain village is represented in the following activities: playing the whipping top, playing the Lali (a local music instrument), blowing the bullhorns, the Baiku Yao women’s weaving of cloth, embroidery and Niangao painting, and their spectacular copper drums, which are all here for tourists to explore.
