The Dahua Yao autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi, has adjusted endowment insurance standards for 2,000 enterprise retirees by the end of April.

The average monthly increase of basic pensions was 181 yuan ($29.18), amounting to 1,880 yuan on average every month. This was the 11th time that Dahua adjusted the basic pension standard.

The basic increase for each retiree is 120 yuan. The amount of money differs, depending on the age and the payment years of the retiree.

Dahua reissued a total of 1.36 million yuan for local retirees to make up for the pensions from January to April. The monthly socialization grant of old-age pensions returned to normal in May.
