Guizhou has two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 18 major national scenic spots, nine national nature protection areas, eight national geological parks, 39 State-level major cultural relic preservation sites, and two national historical and cultural cities. There are more than 1,000 scenic spots with development value. Guizhou does not get unbearably hot in the summer or extremely cold in winter. It is a popular summer resort in China. Many places of interest are well-known at home and abroad, such as Huangguoshu Waterfall, Zhijin Cave, Libo Small Seven Holes and Chishui Danxia.
