Thirteen Guizhou entrepreneurs made it onto the "2018 Hurun Report", which was released on Oct 10, with Luo Yuping from Zhongtian Finance named the richest man in Guizhou with a value of 13 billion yuan ($1.87 billion).
Guizhou Bailing Group's Jiang Wei ranked second with a value of 11 billion yuan. In third place came Zhang Guanfu from Xinbang Pharmaceutical Company with a value of 5 billion yuan.
Hurun Research Institute has released the rich list annually since 1999. Only entrepreneurs with assets of more than $2 billion are eligible to be listed.
The deadline for the calculation of the wealth of entrepreneurs on the list took place on Aug 15. This year the number of people who have dropped off the list has been the highest ever.
The wealth of 796 entrepreneurs has shrunk while 881 saw their fortunes grow. According to the report, Jiang Wei ranked 324th in the country and Zhang Guanfu ranked 789th.
