China's third economic census began registration on New Year's Day. On Jan 10, Ruzhou of Henan province held a conference to promote census registration.
Ding Guohao, a member of the standing committee of the CPC Ruzhou municipal committee, was on hand at the conference.
Thanks to the hard work of the census organizations and officials at different levels, Ruzhou is well prepared for the census, Ding said at the conference.
Ding spoke to related units to prioritize census registration. Ding also attached equal importance to register the three licenses of the census’ subjects , including the business license, taxation registration license and business code license.
With a clear and comprehensive understanding of problems in the process, the respective sectors of the census must use every possible legal method to clear the way for an accurate census.
Starting Jan 1, the economic data of over 6,400 legal entities, industrial units and 75,000 self-employed people in secondary and tertiary industries in the city will be collected with the help of PDA (personal digital assistant) electronic terminal devices and GPS positioning. The three licenses mentioned above will be photographed on-site.
