Huaqiao International Service Business Park hopes to develop into a top-class service industry cluster area and modern business park that is international, scientific, ecological, cultural and livable.
The Park The Park will have a business and building support area of 10 million square meters, a business and service population of 300,000, and a production capacity scale of 100 billion yuan within eight to ten years of operation.
It is situated on the border between Jiangsu province and Shanghai municipality. The Park is less than 25 kilometers away from the center of Shanghai, 20 kilometers away from Hongqiao transport hub, and 80 kilometers away from Putong International Airport.
National Highway 312, Shanghai-Ningbo Expressway, Tongjiang-Sanya Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway and urban railway have co-constructed a three-dimension easy traffic system, which highlights the "one-city effect" between the Park and Shanghai.
To date, the Park has introduced over 600 modern service industry projects, 120 of which are large scale, and total investment has exceeded 60 billion yuan. Four industrial clusters, namely services outsourcing, headquarters economy, logistics exhibition and business services have taken shape.
In August 2006, the Park was approved as the only development zone driven by the modern service industry in Jiangsu province. It was listed in the first batch of provincial demonstration zones of outsourcing services in July 2007, and received the "2009 China's Best Financial Services Outsourcing Award" and "China's Largest Services Outsourcing Park".
The Park will develop in line with the requirements of cultivating "new city, new industry and new talent", grasping opportunities of the reorganization of international industries, the evolvement of the Cross-Straits trade and economic relations, and the linkage development of Shanghai in building "two centers", "bigger Hongqiao" and "greater Putong". It is also sparing no effort in advancing the construction of the pilot area of financial services outsourcing, the demonstration zone of the producer service industry and the region for Cross-Straits business cooperation. The Park will also accelerate the aggregation of cities, industries, functions and talents.
