Liu Yanhua presents four packages of contract NH-7 signing ceremony in New Delhi

On January 16, 2007, the four packages contract signing ceremony of No. ADB-II/C-10, C-11, C-14 & C-15, 4 laning of Hyderabad-Bangalore section of NH-7 was held at National Highway of Authority of India (NHAI) in Andhra Pradesh State. Liu Yanhua, the chairman of Labor Union of CGGC, and Pradeep Kumar, the chairman of NHAI presented the ceremony. Liu Runing, the commercial counselor of the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office under the Embassy of PRC. in India was invited.
This project was invested and developed by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and awarded by the Soma-CGGC Joint Venture,including package C-10,C-11,C-14 and C-15, with a total bid amount of $184 million. The contract signing ceremony was held at 11:00 am on Jan 16,2007. Pardeep Kumar addressed and Liu Yanhua made a speech on the ceremony. Liu firstly thanked to all the parties for their support and concern. He promised that CGGC would cooperate with Soma to fufill the contract, build up a high speed and quality project in India, deepen the friendship between Chinese and Indian people as well as promote trade copperation between two countries on the basis of CGGC’s management concept: “Build up a project, Set up a monument, Make a batch of friends, Develop a large amount of markets, Cultivate a great number of talents”.
Liu Yanhua on behalf of Yang Jixue , the president of CGGC, paid an offical call with Sun Yuxi, the ambassador of PRC to India, and Liu Runing, thanked for their support and assistance. Sun Yuxi congratulated CGGC’s outstanding achievement in India, and expressed that they would be glad to provide all-around assistance to CGGC.
Liu visited the site of package RJ-6 of National Highway Corridor (Sector) I Project: East-West Corridor,accompanied by the leaders of CGGC International, India Project Department and Cooperation Company. He inspected the road construction site and batching plant operation, inquired the living condition of staffs, conveyed warm greetings and good wishes to them.
