The "Grand Swallow" launches out

On Oct 8, Hongyan, literally meaning "Grand Swallow" and built by GMSC, sailed for the first time. It is the first 3,700m3- LPG carrier independently built by CGGC.

With its steel-made main body and a single screw, the diesel-driven and full-pressure carrier is used for ocean transport LPG in non-restricted waters. The 99.80m-long carrier is designed to draw 5.4 meters and with a bearing capacity of 3,700m3. It is among the largest full-pressure LPG carriers.
