Myanmar Shwegyin Hydropower Station successfully completes 72h trial run of the first unit

At 9:00 pm. on Dec 25, 2010, the first unit of Myanmar Shwegyin Hydropower Station (Unit 4) successfully completed 72h trial run, the electromechanical equipment of which was designed, supplied and installed by CGGC.
Vice Minister of Myanmar Ministry of Electric Power (1), who was making an onsite inspection, congratulated staff of both Chinese and Myanmar parties for the project construction and showed his appreciation to CGGC's ability in contract performance, saying that he looks forward to cooperation with CGGC on more projects in Myanmar.
Located at a distance of 6 kilometers to the northeast of Shwegyin Town, Bago, Myanmar Shwegyin Hydropower Station is designed for four Francis turbine-generator units of 20MW.
