Liouesso Hydropower Station Dam closes in the Republic of Congo

On January 16, the dam of Liouesso Hydropower Station, a project undertaken by CGGC in the Republic of Congo, was successfully closed, 60 days ahead of schedule.
The station, with a CFRD dam, is located in the Sangha area in the north of the country. Its principal function is to generate electricity for the cities in the northern part of the Republic of Congo. The project consists of three 6.4 MW mixed-flow generator sets with a total installed capacity of 19.2 MW.
