Li Jiheng urges for production safety

Li Jiheng, secretary of Inner Mongolia Party Committee, recently investigated factories in Ordos to ensure accident prevention and guarantee worker safety.

From Feb 27 to 28, Li and his inspection team visited the airport, coal mines and chemical industrial firms to randomly check processes in security guard, equipment maintenance, materials chemosynthesis and overall monitoring.

The Ordos government and its Party committee presented work reports to Li concerning the current supervision of factories with potential production risks.

Li emphasized that the local government should raise the awareness and supervision of high-risk production processes. Li also encouraged local businesses to utilize modern technologies, such as big data, to sniff out potential hazards during manufacturing processes.
