Keynote speech from Lei Diansheng – hiking world record holder

Hiking world record holder Lei Diansheng will deliver this year's keynote speech. Titled Always on the Road, Lei will use his speech to share some of his experiences from 10 years of continuous hiking around China.

Lei's epic journey around China took him 81,000 kilometers – the equivalent of twice around the equator. He broke his toenails 19 times, wore out 52 pairs of shoes, was robbed on 19 occasions, faced windstorms, avalanches, pythons and wolves, and at times even ran out of food and water. But nothing could stop Lei as he trudged along his endless road to discovery.
