A unanimous corporate income tax rate of 25 percent applies to both foreign-invested enterprises and domestic-invested enterprises. New and hi-tech enterprises prioritized for aid by the state as well as technologically advanced service enterprises are levied corporate income tax as per 15 percent. The R&D expenses incurred by the enterprise in development of new technology, new product(s), and new workmanship may be deducted (again) by 50 oercent as a whole when taxable income is calculated.
