YKK Corporation, the world’s largest zipper maker, settled in Dandong on January 25.
Founded in 1934 in Japan, YKK Corporation has 114 plants in 71 countries. It has occupied 45% of the global zipper market share. It has set up a manufacturing plant in Dalian, Shanghai and Shenzhen respectively. It decides to establish a branch office in Dandong, mainly because Dandong is the garment industrial base in the province.
