According to the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance, Qingdao has been selected to be the host city for the second 3D printing fair from May 7 to 8, 2014 .

Building on the success of the first fair, the second one will continue to provide a platform for people in the 3D industry to share experiences and exchange the latest technical results together, aiming to further encourage the industrialization of 3D printing technology by integrating with traditional printing trades.

The fair will commend the top 10 creative figures, the most innovative enterprises in the global 3D industry and the winners of the 3D printing innovation contest. It will hold activities including TV dialogues, workshops, 3D printing shows, the inauguration of the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance and Qingdao's investment attraction.

Apart from the above-mentioned activities, Luo Jun, secretary general of the International 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance, said the second fair will involve a series of presentations of the latest technologies, products and materials.
