In a bid to promote the city's image around the world, representatives from Qingdao, Shandong province's coastal city, will participate in the 2015 Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair, which is to be held in the city of Kawasaki, Japan, on Feb 3-7. The event is expected to boost Qingdao's cooperation with other countries in the areas of recycling, energy saving and environmental protection.

Qingdao Overseas Investment Service Center considered the fair as a golden opportunity to give itself global exposure, so it will organize a string of local enterprises to take part in the fair and is making extra effort to help these companies with their visas, preparations, and exhibition arrangements.

Co-sponsored by the Kawasaki government, Kawasaki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the fair's theme is based upon Kawasaki bringing new environmental technologies to the world. It aims to share Kawasaki's experiences and technologies in the processes of preventing pollution problems, provide a business matchmaking place for domestic and foreign enterprises and to exchange industrial knowledge related to the environment.
