The 2021 World Industrial Design Conference opened in Yantai, Shandong province on Oct 22.

The event was attended by government officials, industry organizations, experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, designers, and other innovation leaders from more than 40 countries and regions, who shared their insights into the latest industrial design trends.

The event, which will run for three days, focuses on digital design and artificial intelligence and displays more than 1,000 cutting-edge products related to aerospace, intelligent robots, intelligent vehicles, electronic information, and cultural creation.

In addition to the main venue at the Yantai International Conference Center, the conference also had nearly 10 sub-venues with both online and offline channels across the world.

The World Industrial Design Conference has become a platform for gathering global design and innovation resources and pursuing cooperation between countries and regions. This year’s event is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shandong Provincial People's Government.
