【Urban Planning Exhibition Hall of Jiading New Town】

With a total construction area of 6,750 square meters, the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall of Jiading New Town occupies a land area of 13,933 square meters. A large space workshop has been remolded as a center for exhibition and working office.

The architecture design is conceived as a “Panoramic View”. The enlarged body of the architecture is wrapped by an expanded metal lath, reflecting modernity and novelty. The new body in the south is surrounded by a transparent glass wall in order to provide an excellent landscape. The remolded part of the building stretches into an exquisite green bamboo pool.

Meanwhile, the interior room of the building also features the beautiful scenery of the green bamboo pool. The combination of architecture and environment embodies the ecological urban environment of Jiading New Town.

【Shanghai International Circuit】

Shanghai International Circuit occupies a land area of 5.3 square kilometers and is known as an F1 circuit adhering to international standards for its highest degree of difficulty, highest technological content, and the most complete and comprehensive functions.

Its main structure has both modern elements and traditional Chinese features. Its race track is shaped like the Chinese character 上 (the first character in the city's name Shanghai). The design of the red and golden cylindrical roof cut-outs of the main spectator stand was inspired by the traditional Chinese lantern; the film structured roof of the side spectator stands is shaped like lotus leaves; and the design of the PAddressock area for racing teams to rest and refresh was inspired by the waterside pavilions and bridges at Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai.

The designed capacity of spectator stands is about 200,000 people, including 50,000 seats on the main and side stands, and the rest are temporary spectator seats at the sloped areas. The total length of the race track is 5,451.24 meters, with seven left turns and seven right turns, and the designed average speed is 205 kilometers.

【Yakult 】

Shanghai Yakult, with a total investment of $79.5 million (4.8 billion yuan) and a registered capital of $26.5 million (1.6 billion yuan), is the first wholly-owned subsidiary in China of the world’s biggest Lactobacillus drinks manufacturer -- Yakult Honsha Ltd.

In order to realize its market strategy of “l(fā)ocal production and trade”, Shanghai Yakult Dairy Products Company, the second factory in China producing bottled Yakult, was established in Shanghai by Shanghai Yakult on Aug 10, 2004. The company settled in Shanghai Jiading industrial district in September.
