Zhongding Logistics Park, the largest logistics cluster in Shanxi, has gotten off to a flying start since it opened in November 2016.
During its first three months, 33 companies, such as Deppon Logistics and Best Logistics, have settled in Zhongding. Meanwhile, the park has been hunting for investment for its warehousing. The demand for storage by logistics firms like Shangqiao has so far amounted to 8.52 hectares.
The railway terminal of the park has had a total throughput of some 250,000 tons of goods since November 2016 and established partnerships with 13 businesses, including Shanxi Shuita Vinegar Marketing Co.
Direct freight trains have been launched by the park, such as the Shanxi-Europe train and Shanxi-Qiaosi (Shanghai) train. Tianjin Port, the largest comprehensive port in North China, has also built land port space within the park.
Apart from furthering cooperation, Zhongding Logistics Park has also been improving its operations and management. Related websites, cloud platforms, big data platforms, APPs, and a guide for intelligent logistics services have also been completed so far.
