More than 500 doctors from nephrology clinics in Shanxi hospitals recently took part in training focusing on blood purification and chronic kidney diseases in Taiyuan.
The event invited some 20 domestic experts in kidney diseases to give 25 lectures themed around hot topics in kidney diseases and blood purification and latest research achievements in related areas.
Sponsored by Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Chinese Nephrologist Association, the training which was launched in June 2015 aimed to offer guidance to around 10,000 grassroots nephrology doctors in three years and improve their professional skills and services.
