Shanxi province held a press conference in Beijing on Sept 13 to grant regional brand status to some of its high-quality agricultural products.

A total of 27 categories of agricultural products were granted their own brands, including two brands at the provincial level, and five at city level.

Products awarded the brand status include millets, honey, walnut oil, pears and walnuts.

Chen Yongqi, vice governor of Shanxi province, attended the brand granting ceremony.
