Nanshan Temple in Mount Wutai

Day 1: Xiantong Temple>Tayuan Temple>Pusa Ding (Bodhisattva Top)>Wanfo (10,000 Buddhas) Temple

Day 2: Nanshan (South Hill) Temple>Longquan (Dragon Spring) Temple>Puhua Temple>Manjusri Statue Temple>Bishan (Verdant Hill) Temple>Zhenhai Temple>Puhua Temple

When you get to the town of Taihuai, you may go to the Luohou Temple at the foot of North Hill first, then to Xiantong Temple (tickets are 6 yuan), Tayuan Temple (4 yuan) and Pusa Ding (Bodhisattva Top) ( 5 yuan); then return along the same path to the eastern gate of Tayuan Temple; after Tayuan Temple, walk east from the south gate to Wanfo (10,000 Buddhas) Temple; you can stay at one of the hotels in Taihuai for the night.

Take a minibus at Taihuai for a 1-day tour, and visit Nanshan (South Hill) Temple (4 yuan), Longquan (Dragon Spring) Temple (4 yuan), Puhua Temple and Manjusri Statue Temple; then you may may want to go to Dongtai (East Top) in the early morning to see the sunrise at Wanghai (Sea-view) Peak, then to Bishan Temple; at noon, return to Taihuai for a rest, and in the afternoon walk about five km south to Zhenhai Temple, Puhua Temple and Nanshan (South Hill) Temple; the stone carvings in Youguo Temple are well-known and unique to Wutai.
