The Jinxiu Mountain is the southern point of Mount Wutai, with an altitude of 7,845 meters and covering an area of 13.34 hectares. It's located twelve kilometers away from Taihuai town. Among the five tops of Mount Wutai, the Jinxiu Mountain is the only one that stands alone while the other four are all connected with each other.

"Jinxiu" means beautiful flowers, so Jinxiu Mountain is a fantastic resort covered by all kinds of flowers. From a distant view, it looks like a reposing horse. If you stand on the top, it feels like you are within a basin of lush flora.

The mountain is also named Flower Mountain. It is famous for its wild vegetation and rare plants. Pleasant smells and bird songs create a scene from paradise, as if you are in a fairy tale. The head of the mountain looks like an inverted vase with fragrant flowers and a carpet of green grass being poured out onto the earth. Rare species of nasturtium, chrysanthemum and mushrooms can be found here. When summer comes, after grain in ear day, flocks of sheep gather along the mountain side as the moving melodies of their owners echo along the valley, leaving those who witness this event in a state of peace and tranquility.
