Several aircraft made urgent landings at Karamay Airport because of freezing fog on Jan 13, hexun.com reported.
The airport got notice of possible urgent landings at 01:30 and begun preparations immediately. Thanks to the preparations, flights CZ 6988, CZ 6884, and SC 8826 landed safely at 02:05, 02:21 and 02:47.
The staff of Karamay Airport reminds travelers of the possible necessity for urgent landings en route because of weather.
