Should e-bikes be banned in China?

E-bikes exit because there is an inelastic demand for them. Even nowadays, not every Chinese family can afford a car as well as the expense to support a car. Thus, most of the worker families use bikes or e-bikes for daily transportation routines. Compared with normal bikes, riding e-bikes is more energy saving and less time-consuming. Simultaneously, it is also convenient and environmentally friendly to ride e-bikes. Thus, it seems unreasonable to "ban" e-bikes.
