Born in 1972 with hearing difficulties, Wang Ziying lost an arm when she was a girl in an accident. But she got a job in an enterprise specially established for the disabled in 1990. Her fighting spirit shone through when she participated in an international athletic meeting for the disabled and won her event. Married, she has one child.

Wang Tao was born in Qingdao, Shandong province in 1990. He has learning difficulties after anoxia at birth. Now he works as a cleaner in the residential community he lives in where he is extremely popular.
