Qixing wins State Grid bid

Qixing Iron Tower Co Ltd, China’s leading iron tower manufacturer, won a bid to build 10,090 tons of angular towers for the State Grid Corporation of China with a contract worth 67 million yuan, according to a State Grid purchasing list.

The project bodes well for the company’s future. Currently, the company has an annual output of 130,000 tons of iron towers. Qixing Iron Tower reported sales revenues of more than 104 million yuan in the first quarter of this year, a year-on-year increase of 32.7 percent. The company is a regular supplier for the State Grid, South Power Grid Corp and Reliance Group of India.
