30 officials arrested in anti- crime campaign

Guiyang - More than 30 government officials who were allegedly sheltering and mixing with criminals in Southwest China’s Guizhou province have been arrested during the latest crack down on mafia-style crimes, said Guizhou police at a conference.
Police also busted 250 mafia-style gangs and a number of organizations were closed down during the action that lasted a number of years.
The conference attracted hundreds of citizens who were anxious to acquire related information and seek legal advice.
