The first China-ASEAN Auto Expo will be held in Liuzhou

The first China-ASEAN Auto, Engineering Machinery and Parts Expo will be held in Liuzhou from Dec 8 to 10.
The Expo serves as a platform for cooperation on auto, engineering machinery and car parts between China and ASEAN countries thanks to Liuzhou’s booming auto industry and its geographic advantage with Southeast Asian countries.
The Expo is an international exhibition of cars, machinery and car parts with its focus on the China-ASEAN market.
The Expo has 400 indoor booths and a 4,000 square meter outdoor exhibition area. Around 275 enterprises have registered for the Expo since Nov 15. During the Expo, Liuzhou will hold the “China-ASEAN Auto Industry Forum”, “China-ASEAN Auto Industry Promotion” and other activities related to commerce and trade.
Liuzhou is expected to sell 2.5 million cars by 2015 but it can only produce 40 percent to 60 percent of the car parts which are needed in car manufacturing. This impedes the development of Liuzhou’s auto industry. Therefore, Liuzhou wants to introduce the enterprises which can produce high-tech and high added value auto parts.
